Be part of an unforgettable day on Fifth Avenue in New York City as we march together in the annual Israel Day on 5th (parade). Each year, our Federation brings together a vibrant Greater MetroWest delegation—including day school families, synagogue congregations, Rishonim, and community leaders—to join tens of thousands of marchers, colorful floats, marching bands, and Israeli musical performers. It’s an inspiring and joyful celebration of our shared commitment to Israel—and an experience you won’t want to miss!

Join us for Pride Shabbat! During the pre-neg, enjoy rainbow challah and community connection before a meaningful service filled with music, prayer, and celebration honoring Pride and the beauty of inclusion. Pre-Neg at 5 PM and Services begin at 6 PM
We’ll be honoring and celebrating LGBTQ members of the Jewish community with a service filled with meaningful poems, as well as musical settings composed by LGBTQ composers. Join us for a Pride Shabbat Potluck! There is no charge for this event. You are welcome to contribute a vegan or vegetarian dish or dessert. Madeline Gale, Co-Founder and Board Member of Out Montclair, has been actively leading and participating in civil rights struggles for most of her life. She will speak about building inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth, families, and neighbors.

Our Greater MetroWest NJ community will work together to clean up a park in Kenilworth, clearing debris, improving accessibility for all, and restoring this valuable natural resource for all to enjoy. Appropriate for all ages, and a great family activity. Please note, if we need to cancel due to inclement weather, you will receive an email by 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 7.
Packing for Pride Month is a meaningful, hands on opportunity for teens to give back while learning about the importance of supporting LGBTQIA+ peers. During this program, participants will assemble care kits that will be donated to an organization dedicated to improving the mental wellness of LGBTQIA+ youth through accessible experiences that foster purpose and connection. Through this shared effort, teens will not only contribute to a cause that uplifts others, but also build awareness, empathy, and a stronger sense of community.
