William and Betty Lester Society

The Lester Society recognizes generous donors who support the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s UJA Annual Campaign through endowment commitments of $100,000 or more.

William (z’’l) and Betty (z’’l) Lester established the Lester Society in 1993 to recognize the generosity of those who have endowed their support of the UJA Annual Campaign of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ through endowment commitments of $100,000 or more. William Lester died in 2005, leaving Federation its first multi-million-dollar endowment to support the UJA Campaign in perpetuity.

The Lester Society recognizes current endowment donors and remembers the generosity of endowment donors who have passed away. Once you become a member, your name will continue to appear on the list of distinguished Lester Society members in perpetuity.

Establish a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE)

The strength and vitality of a woman’s giving continues through a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE). Establishing a LOJE enables a woman to leave a legacy to safeguard the values that have inspired her own giving. A LOJE gift represents the creation of a permanent fund guaranteeing that a woman’s financial commitment of at least $5,000 will continue to be made to the UJA Annual Campaign in perpetuity.

Forever starts today! To create your own LOJE, please contact Diane Bakst, Director, Women’s Philanthropy, at dbakst@jfedgmw.org or (973) 9293056 or Michal Werner, Associate Executive Director, JCF, at mwerner@jfedgmw.org or (973) 929-2987.
