Pride Shabbat

Date: Saturday, June 17
Time: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm (EDT)
Congregation Ohr Shalom
Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ

Congregation Ohr Shalom will hold its first Pride Shabbat celebrating our Jewish and LGBTQIA+ identities on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:30am.

We will join together in readings, songs, and prayers that reflect our commitment to inclusivity and acceptance. Then, we’ll have lunch together. Please join us whether you’re LGBTQIA+, questioning or an ally.

We welcome participation in the service! If you would like to read Torah, please contact Cantor for Torah reading assignments (cantor@summitjcc.org). For other opportunities to participate, please contact Jaimee Ehrenfried (ehrenfriedjs@msn.com). English & Hebrew parts available.

We very much look forward to seeing you and celebrating together!

Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ are proud to support Pride Shabbat!

Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is made stronger by the participation of people of every age, ability, race, ethnicity, denomination, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and religious affiliation.
