This exhibit of calligraphic paintings by New York artist Eleanor Winters is in memory of the Jewish children of Paris who were deported to the Nazi concentration camps during the Holocaust. Of the 6500 children deported between 1942 and1944, few if any survived. These emotionally evocative paintings are based on plaques installed throughout Paris in memory of these children.
