The Next Generation of Jewish Philanthropy

By Abbi Halpern and Jeffrey Feinstein, co-chairs, 100 for 100

With gratitude for the leaders who built our Jewish community, Greater MetroWest’s next generation of philanthropy is here.

Greater MetroWest has always been an important part of our lives.

When we think about Greater MetroWest we are filled with overwhelming gratitude for this community we love, where we grew up, and where we’re raising our families. It’s dynamic, interconnected, and multigenerational. It’s a very special place.

Federation helps us instill Jewish values in our children, with our hopes that they will one day take their place as community leaders, just as we are doing now.

For families raising children here in Greater MetroWest, there are endless opportunities to explore and grow at every stage of everyone’s Jewish journey. Vibrant programs and services from Federation and its partners include PJ Library book deliveries and fun young family programming, world-renowned Jewish day schools, JCCs, and Jewish camps, and unique teen experiences, all promoting inclusive practices for access, belonging, and life enrichment for people with disabilities and their families.

What makes you appreciate the Greater MetroWest Jewish community and everything we have to offer? Our critical work locally, in Israel, and around the globe is possible only because earlier generations built our community’s strong foundation. With gratitude for that strong legacy, Greater MetroWest’s next generation is now shaping the future for our children.

We are honored to be joined by a committee of dedicated leaders in 100 for 100, our newly launched giving initiative for the next generation of Jewish philanthropists (ages 50 and under) to perpetuate the important work our Federation does to care, build, and save for the Jewish future. Together we are working to secure 100 legacy or endowment gifts from members of our passionate NextGen community to support the enduring work of our Federation. Thank you for your dedication to passing the torch from generation to generation. We are grateful.
