Where to Turn for Pastoral Care

Jewish Chaplains On-Call

See Impact Report

Jewish Pastoral Care is available to you wherever you are.

Jewish Federation proudly works with our professionally trained Jewish chaplains to provide spiritual care throughout our community. Federation’s chaplains are in several major medical centers, senior housing residences, and are also available as needed to individuals in their homes, over the phone, through Facebook or Zoom.

Some of our chaplains are specialists in working with older people and Holocaust survivors. All Federation chaplains are qualified with Clinical Pastoral Education units, and several of them are board-certified. All chaplains are multi-faith trained to understand the dynamics of the modern Greater MetroWest community.

To find the chaplains that work in your community institutions or area, consult this chart, then click on the link in the Meet the Chaplains box below to learn more about them and get their contact information. If you feel that consultation with one of our chaplains might be helpful to you or a loved one in spiritual need, contact chaplaincy@jfedgmw.org.

All chaplaincy services are supported by Jewish Federation and are provided at no charge to our community.

A National Model of Chaplaincy Work

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, our GMW chaplains continue to visit patients in hospitals when possible and find ways to stay connected when not.

Greater MetroWest Caregiver Resources

We’re grateful to Dr. Zitter and the community professionals from our Greater MetroWest partner agencies who shared their expertise and resources available to support caregivers in the our community.
