Noa L’Olam Israel Delegation Visits GMW

Date: Tuesday, March 3 - Tuesday, March 10
Time: All Day
Will be shared with attendees

Noa L’Olam is a new international educator exchange program created in response to the events of October 7th and the sharp rise in global antisemitism. In light of the fears and challenges faced by both students and educators, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is taking a leading role—committed to fostering an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and resilience.

This inaugural program connects teachers from Merchavim Regional High School in Israel with educators from public and non-Jewish private schools in Greater MetroWest NJ. The initiative builds an international educational community where participants address shared challenges and learn from one another’s diverse teaching methods and innovative pedagogical practices. Through collaboration, teachers develop joint educational projects for their students, strengthening cross-cultural understanding and professional growth.

Participants will deepen these relationships through reciprocal visits to each other’s schools in Israel and New Jersey, including home hospitality, where educators stay with their counterparts—an essential element of the program designed to strengthen and personalize these meaningful connections.

Participation is limited in this first year of the program, which is highly selective and heavily subsidized.
