The Goldberg and Mandelbaum families are longtime Greater MetroWest residents and philanthropists, generously supporting many causes throughout our community.
Michael Goldberg is the President, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest and serves on the Executive Committee of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest (JCF). Terri Goldberg serves on the Women’s Philanthropy Board of Trustees and is a mentor to many NextGen women in Greater MetroWest. Terri’s commitment to our Jewish community extends beyond Greater MetroWest to UJA Federation of New York, where her Lion gift is endowed.
In honor of Federation’s Centennial, the Goldbergs established the largest Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowment (PACE) gift ever created during a donor’s lifetime, helping to build and strengthen our Jewish community for generations to come. When combined with the remarkable Living Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) gift in honor of Michael’s beloved mother, Diane z’’l, the Goldberg family is recognized at the $5 million level (“Preservers”) in our Federation’s historic Centennial Campaign.
Together, the Goldbergs are also actively involved with Friendship Circle and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, among other causes.
Karen and David Mandelbaum are honorary trustees of the Center for Jewish Life (CJL) at Princeton University, a partnership between the University and Hillel International. They recently made a gift to CJL that will make possible the renovation and expansion of the center’s main kitchen and dining facilities. The Mandelbaum Family Dining Pavilion will allow the Center for Jewish Life to serve a student population that has increased significantly since it opened nearly 30 years ago.
Karen Mandelbaum also serves as a trustee for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, Icahn Charter Schools and the Livingston Symphony Orchestra of New Jersey.
Sheree and Nathan Mandelbaum are very generous supporters of our Federation’s UJA Annual Campaign as well as Friendship Circle, the American Society for Yad Vashem, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, among others. They are also active members of their synagogue, Temple B’nai Jeshurun.
Together, the Goldberg and Mandelbaum families have generously sponsored our historic Centennial Campaign.
