This winter, there are plenty of ways for our Next Chapter* (55+ give or take 😊) community members to get involved. We’re hosting a range of events that are open to all but especially Next Chapter-friendly, from packing winter care packages for college students on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to a Tu B’Shevat program with our Israeli emissaries, to diaper sorting for families in need, and so much more. It’s a great season to try something new and show up for the community in all kinds of meaningful ways.
What Is Next Chapter?
Next Chapter is a Federation initiative launched in 2024 in response to the 2020 Greater MetroWest community study, which showed that older adults were seeking more ways to connect, engage, and deepen their involvement in Jewish community life.
Through programs that span every area of Federation—from volunteering to partnerships across departments—participants experience the full breadth and depth of our work, reach, and community impact.
