We’re delighted to welcome Meredith Dragon as the next Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. Meredith joins the team from the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester, where she served as CEO and was a driving force for innovation, collaboration, and community-building for a decade.
Her leadership through moments of crisis—including rising antisemitism and global uncertainty post October 7—helped strengthen communal bonds and guide Rochester’s Jewish community through some of its most challenging times.
“I am deeply honored to begin my tenure at this extraordinary moment in Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s history,” Dragon said. “Following its remarkable Centennial year, I am inspired to lead this vibrant community into its next century by building on a legacy of strength, resilience, and impact. In the wake of the tragic shooting of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky in Washington, DC, our work has never been more vital. Together, we will shape a future defined by unity, courage, and an unwavering commitment to Jewish life in Greater MetroWest NJ, Israel, and around the world.”
She’ll officially begin her new role in early September and will join us at our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 10. We hope you’ll come meet her and hear what’s next. Register here.
A seasoned philanthropic leader, Meredith is an advocate for Zionism and Israel education and has played a key role in the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester’s crisis responses, deepening ties between global Jewry and the Jewish state.
We’re so grateful to Steven D. Levy, who has served as Interim CEO with dedication, care, and clarity. His leadership has been a steady force during this time of transition, and we look forward to this next chapter with gratitude and excitement.
