Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ (JFEDGMW) is always striving to enhance your online experience and foster stronger connections within our community. To that end, we’re excited to share details about our Social Media Restructuring Plan designed to improve the content we post, increase engagement, and create more meaningful interactions.
One tool we want to expand is Facebook Groups
Facebook Groups serve as hubs for connection, learning, and sharing among individuals with similar interests. Our groups will be accessible on our Facebook profile page, offering a centralized location for all content. Whether global or local, these private groups we create will bring our community together. At JFEDGMW we aspire to foster authentic conversations and grow engagement within our community, constantly focusing on our mission: “Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ convenes and leads our community to ensure the continuity and strength of the Jewish People, to support a secure Jewish and democratic State of Israel, and to care for Jews in need locally and around the world.”
To ensure vibrant communities within each group, users can request access to each of the groups we create. A member of our staff will review each request to ensure safe spaces where members can feel comfortable sharing content, participating in discussions, and engaging with each other.
As part of this Social Media Restructuring Plan, we will consolidate some of our current social media accounts. However, you will still receive all the content you enjoy now, plus much more!
For profiles remaining active, we will post an announcement of the upcoming Restructuring phase. This post encourages followers to share their content preferences, actively involving the community in shaping our content strategy. Profiles set for deletion will receive a similar post, urging followers to migrate to our main account. We have a transition period in place that will give all our followers enough time to follow our main account.
