If you’re 55+ and looking for a way to volunteer, connect with others, and make new friends, we’re excited to share that it’s never been easier. With the Next Chapter webpage launch you can easily access upcoming events and resources. Check the page regularly for upcoming programs and attend our Spread the Love: PB&J Sandwich Making event next week!
At Spread the Love, we’ll make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch bag kits that will be distributed to people in need in Greater MetroWest. It’s an easy way to get involved, meet others, and do something meaningful for the holidays (plus some fun Hanukkah treats!). Register here soon, as space is limited.
Why Next Chapter?
Next Chapter was created in response to the 2020 Greater MetroWest community study, which showed that adults 55+ are looking for more ways to get involved and deepen their connection to Jewish community. Our Federation recognized the need and launched this initiative to provide a space for vibrant, active community members to engage in meaningful experiences.
Our first event brought together more than 100 people from all five Greater MetroWest counties (Essex, Morris, Sussex, Union, and parts of Somerset). Ready to learn more? Join our WhatsApp group to stay in the loop and be part of our growing community. We can’t wait to see you there!
