Opportunities to Connect
Every two years, Lions gather in a major city for three phenomenal days of learning, sharing, and celebration. We inspire one another and hear from the world’s leading speakers in the fields of religion, culture, art, business, and politics.
Greater MetroWest Lions also have opportunities throughout the year to meet locally in more intimate settings to connect with one another and learn more about the impact of our giving.
More than 400 strong, we are one of the largest North American communities of Lions… join us and find out how we are changing the world together!
Lion of Judah Endowment
Forever starts today. The strength and vitality of a woman’s giving continues through a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE). Establishing a LOJE enables a woman to leave a legacy to safeguard the values that have inspired her own giving. A LOJE gift represents the creation of a permanent fund guaranteeing that a woman’s financial commitment of at least $5,000 will continue to be made to the UJA Annual Campaign in perpetuity.
Nationwide, 3,800 women have created Lion of Judah Endowments totaling $620 million in future gifts. Through simple, innovative steps, an endowed gift is within the reach of any Lion, regardless of age.
Endow your gift and join us in celebrating 25 years of Lion of Judah Endowment. Together we keep the flame alive.
For more information about the LOJE, contact The Jewish Community Foundation of the Greater MetroWest NJ.
Wearing our Commitment
The internationally recognized symbol of the Lion of Judah program is a jewel-inset 14-carat gold Lion pin that can also be worn as a pendant. Each year that a woman sustains or increases her minimum $5,000 gift to the UJA Annual Campaign, she is eligible to have a small diamond set into the pin. As her contribution grows, additional precious gems may be placed as an inset in the lion’s eye.
