Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is celebrated each year in June. According to the Library of Congress, it is a time to celebrate “how LGBTQ Americans have strengthened our country, by using their talent and creativity to help create awareness and goodwill.”
This year, to celebrate Pride Month:
- Sign up now to pick up a special Pride Shabbat Kit to use at home, including rainbow candles, prayers, stickers, and other fun swag.
- Come out and join us at two local Pride events – Saturday, June 8 in Montclair and Sunday, June 9 in Maplewood (details below). Stop by our table and say hello.
