Celebrate Pride in Greater MetroWest

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is celebrated each year in June. According to the Library of Congress, it is a time to celebrate “how LGBTQ Americans have strengthened our country, by using their talent and creativity to help create awareness and goodwill.”

This year, to celebrate Pride Month:

  • Sign up now to pick up a special Pride Shabbat Kit to use at home, including rainbow candles, prayers, stickers, and other fun swag.
  • Come out and join us at two local Pride events – Saturday, June 8 in Montclair and Sunday, June 9 in Maplewood (details below). Stop by our table and say hello.
  • Check out the list of Pride events across the community

Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest is made stronger by the participation of people of every age, ability, race, ethnicity, denomination, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and religious affiliation. We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcome, included, and valued.
