We’re excited to announce the addition of Gregory Drucks to our Security team as our new Director of Community Security Training.
Gregory Drucks, known to friends and coworkers as Greg, retired as a law enforcement professional after more than 27 years of service. Greg first began his law enforcement career with the Roseland Police Department in 1996, then transferred to the Livingston Police Department in 1999 where he retired with the rank of Police Sergeant in June 2023. Greg was also an EMT for more than 10 years with the Livingston First Aid Squad and the Branchville Fire Department in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
Greg has extensive investigative experience from his 14 years in the Detective Bureau, specifically as Livingston’s Juvenile Detective, a member of the department’s SWAT team, and a member of the Essex County Auto Theft Taskforce. Amongst his many duties, he was also responsible for creating and operating the Livingston police department’s social media presence.
During his career he was deeply involved with police and community training and emergency preparedness. He was the DARE Program coordinator and provided numerous presentations to schools, both public and private, and community groups.
Greg holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Maryland and resides in Essex County with his wife and two daughters.
