Yom Kippur Services

Sunday, September 20 — Kol Nidre services featuring choir and guest musicians. 7:30pm — Kol Nidre Service, marking the start of Yom Kippur with the traditional evening prayer of atonement. Monday, September 21 — Yom Kippur 9:00–9:45am — Yom Kippur Children’s Services. Temple Sholom’s Children’s services intertwine prayers, guitar music, storytelling, and age-appropriate worship to create meaningful High Holy Days experiences for families with newborns through second graders. Children’s Services are led by Rabbi Emily and Cantor Sharlein. There’s no cost to attend, but we do ask that you register in advance so we can prepare for everyone joining us. 10:30am — Yom Kippur Morning Services. 3:30pm — Yom Kippur Mincha, afternoon services. 5:15pm — Yom Kippur Yizkor, memorial services honoring loved ones who have passed. Open to all; registration required. 5:45pm — Yom Kippur N’ilah, the concluding service of Yom Kippur, followed by a community Break the Fast.
