Teen Workshop: Responding to Antisemitism

Date: Sunday, December 17
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am (EST)
Zoom

All teens and their parents are invited to join us on Zoom for a conversation with Dr. Rachel Fish to talk about the alarming increase in antisemitic and anti-Israel sentiment since Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7 and how it’s effecting teens in particular.

We will discuss the roots of antisemitism and how it has permeated our schools, social media feeds, and conversations with friends and family. Dr. Fish will share tools and strategies for how to navigate the complexity of this issue.

We support and #StandWithIsrael as we continue to build a strong Jewish community here in NJ

In 2021 Rachel Fish co-founded the nonprofit Boundless, an innovation engine re-imagining Israel education and combating Jew-hatred in North America. Boundless is addressing system-wide challenges focusing on enhancing literacy about Israel and Jew-hatred, building a repository of research, and assessing the ways in which language is weaponized against Israel and Jews.

Building an inclusive community is a priority. Please email federation@jfedgmw.org to let us know if you require an accommodation to meaningfully participate in an event. One of our Federation professionals will reach out to you to learn more.
