Security, Frauds, and Scams

This presentation helps seniors spot and avoid common scams—phone, email, and social media—by exposing tactics like trust and urgency. Covers warning signs, simple safeguards (verification steps, family passwords), and emerging AI threats like voice cloning.
The session concludes with guidance on:
> Staying safe online and on social media
> What to do if you suspect or experience a scam
> Who to contact for reporting and recovery (banks, credit bureaus, law enforcement, FTC)
This program and dessert reception are sponsored by Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s Next Chapter.
