Friday, September 11 — Erev Rosh Hashanah 7:30pm — Erev Rosh Hashanah Services, marking the start of the High Holy Days. Saturday, September 12 — Rosh Hashanah 9:00–9:45am — Rosh Hashanah Children’s Services. Open to all families with newborns through second graders, our Children’s services intertwines prayers, guitar music, storytelling, and age-appropriate worship to create meaningful High Holy Days experiences. Children’s Services are led by Rabbi Emily and Cantor Sharlein. There’s no cost to attend, but we do ask that you register in advance so we can prepare for everyone joining us. 10:30am — Rosh Hashanah Morning Services. 2:00–2:30pm — Tashlich, a symbolic ceremony casting away the past year’s mistakes. Sunday, September 13 — 2nd Day Rosh Hashanah 10:30am — Rosh Hashanah Second Day services 11:00am–12:30pm — 2nd Day Pray & Play Temple Sholom’s informal and fun worship experience for families with newborns through five years old (older siblings are always welcome) featuring singing, dancing, and sitting on the floor! We will “sneak in” to Temple Sholom’s Main Service to hear the shofar blast, then continue with a nosh and play time.
