RESET: A Meaningful Yom Kippur Experience in Rockaway

Chabad Center of Northwest New Jersey invites adults, teens and families to pause, reflect and connect this Yom Kippur, with two distinct ways to take part.

The Heart of the Day | 12:00–1:00 PM

A welcoming, guided hour of prayer, reflection and the story of Jonah, with clear explanations that make the experience easy to follow. No Hebrew or prior experience is needed for this midday program.

A simultaneous children’s program welcomes ages 3–12. Younger children are welcome with a parent or caregiver.

The Final Hour | 6:30–7:37 PM

Join the community for traditional Ne’ilah, the closing service of Yom Kippur, with soulful melodies, Shema and the final shofar. A community break-fast with bagels and lox follows after the fast ends.

Guests may attend either session or both. Traditional services also take place throughout the day.
