Inclusive Employment

“People with disabilities want to have the same opportunities to be fulfilled by their work and contribute to our community through employment. They want to earn a living, meet new people, get up and out each day, and grow their skills, just like the rest of us.”

We are fortunate to have community partner agencies supporting employment for people with disabilities. JESPY and JVS both work with their clients to help identify meaningful employment opportunities as well as provide job coaching and ongoing support to help them continue to meet with success.

Please take a look at some of the stories highlighting members of our community and their places of employment.

Building an inclusive community takes everyone’s engagement. We continue to seek new opportunities for inclusive employment in Greater MetroWest. There are resources available to help a business become an inclusive employer and for members of our community to meaningfully contribute at new places of employment. Here are a few examples of the power of inclusive hiring practices in independent businesses:

Are you

  • engaged in an inclusive place of employment?
  • interested in exploring more about becoming an inclusive employer?
  • looking for opportunities to contribute to community and find new employment?
