A Message from Dov about Torah with Dov
Torah with Dov is probably the most misleading name we ever gave to a program. You may think that I’m leading our Torah learning, but I’m actually the one who’s learning Torah from our gifted Greater MetroWest clergy and Jewish educators.
And I invite you to join me as we learn together.
When you imagine all the possible interactions that occur in a vibrant Jewish community, I think you’ll agree that learning and discussing Torah should be high on the list. That’s why I’m proud that our Greater MetroWest Federation offers Torah with Dov.
We get together about twice a month, and before each session we’ll send you an easily accessible English and Hebrew (usually) Jewish text that we’ll discuss with our teacher. The program takes place over Zoom and we limit participation to about 25 people so we can all see and talk with one another. The experience is as interactive as we want to make it, and no previous Jewish knowledge is required or assumed. So, bring your curiosity and we’ll explore Jewish wisdom together.
