The Center for Volunteerism provides a variety of service opportunities to care for those in need, strengthen our Jewish community, and make a difference in the lives of others. Preserve the History in Our Newark Jewish Cemeteries
Photograph gravestones to be sent to the JewishGen Worldwide Burial Registry (JOWBR). These photos will offer an opportunity for people living far away to “visit” their loved ones in these cemeteries, as well as to preserve the historical value of the graves.
