Summary of Position:

The JCC’s Inclusion & Support Services Department is seeking a motivated and compassionate professional to help advance inclusive practices across our agency. Working alongside colleagues from multiple departments, you will help reduce barriers to participation and ensure individuals h disabilities.

This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills within an exciting and non-traditional community setting where individuals with disabilities are welcomed, valued, and empowered to succeed.  As the Inclusion & Support Services Manager, your contributions will open doors, create opportunities, and help ensure that the JCC remains an inclusive community for years to come.   The positive impact of this role is significant and changes lives.

The role provides agency-wide support, with a significant role in Early Childhood, After School and Camp Yachad programs. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), year-round position reporting to the Director of Inclusion and Diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Support
• Plan, model and implement individualized accommodations for individuals with disabilities or a higher level of need across all JCC programs including:
o Plan and run Club Connect after school recreational programs for students with disabilities (Junior Varsity: grades 6-8; Varsity: grade 9 through age 21)
o Work as part of an interdepartmental team to implement accommodations for children in the Early Childhood (ages 6 months – pre-kindergarten) and After School (Kindergarten through grade 5) programs
• Train Early Childhood and After School staff to implement accommodations for children with a higher level of need
• A role in Camp Yachad supporting the Camper Care Team before and during the camp season
• Participate in professional development to expand knowledge in providing accommodations and supports across programs
• Maintain digital resource hub that staff reference
• Participate in Handle with Care training
• Other relevant tasks as needed

Administrative Support
• Serve as first point of contact for department inquiries
• Manage centralized intakes
• Oversee caseload management
• Create and maintain accommodation forms for program participants
• Coordinate and participate in department and agency-wide meetings
• Maintain real time documentation within the Simple Practice platform
• Manage centralized onboarding for independently contracted providers
• Support scheduling of services
• Support program and event set up including day-of support
• Support department invoicing
• Maintain department inventory
• Create adaptive materials
• Run and interpret reports within the Ages & Stages Questionnaire software platform
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education, early intervention, child life specialist, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavior analysis, social work, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Salary:$65,000-$70,000
