BEING SOMEBODY – Inspiring Father – Daughter Performance

Don’t miss this FREE SPECIAL PERFORMANCE of BEING SOMEBODY, a moving father-daughter theatrical experience starring Dr. Howard Mase, a vibrant 90-year-old practicing psychologist, alongside his daughter, Marla Mase—recording artist, writer, and performer.
Through storytelling, music, and movement, this real-life father–daughter duo invites audiences into a nostalgic, often funny, and deeply human journey through the early moments that shape a life.
Howard brings to life his coming-of-age as a skinny Jewish kid growing up in Brooklyn in the 1940s, while Marla sings about holding fast to our dreams amid the disco-lit grit of the 1970s. Together, their intertwined stories span generations, celebrating resilience, love, and the enduring bond between parent and child.
The show has received standing ovations throughout New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Florida, and we’re thrilled to bring it to the MetroWest community.
Free and open to the public. Registration online at JCC MetroWest
