Sheila & Jack z’l Usdin have been among Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s most committed donors, giving generously to the UJA Annual Campaign for more than 40 years. Today, Sheila is a proud pomegranate in Women’s Philanthropy.
They recognized the importance of ensuring a strong and vibrant Greater MetroWest Jewish community and were among the earliest members of the Willam and Betty Lester Society, recognizing Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowments of $100,000 or greater.
Sheila & Jack also had a rich and deep history with their congregation, Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael in Springfield, with a strong connection to both the rabbi and congregational community.
In addition to being supporters of Jewish Federation and Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael, Sheila & Jack sponsored an entire battalion through Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) and were supporters of Israel Bonds.
They instilled the values of philanthropy and tzedakah in their children.
Robbi and Jonathan have embraced the importance of giving back to both the local community and Israel. They follow in Sheila & Jack’s footsteps as active members of our Jewish community and recognize the importance of our Federation’s Centennial Campaign to ensure that the strong Jewish community of today continues tomorrow and for years to come.
In honor of Sheila & Jack, Robbi & Jonathan and family are generous sponsors of a signature Centennial event, Women’s Philanthropy: Leading Community and Inspiring Change with Noa Tishby.
