Women's Philanthropy

A Vision for the Future

Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ engages Jewish women through dynamic programs that benefit their lives and others in Greater MetroWest, Israel and overseas. Guided by the principles of tzedakah (righteousness), Klal Yisrael (Jewish Peoplehood), and tikkun olam (repairing the world), WP’s support of the UJA Annual Campaign enables our vision to become reality. more

Federation's Response Ability Is Our Responsibility
When Hurricane Irma was targeted to hit South Florida where several of my elderly relatives live, I was comforted to read an e-mail from our Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest.

Upcoming Events

    October 14-22, 2018
    It's not just a trip...
Amazing things happen on a commUNITY Mission. The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest and our communities' synagogues and Jewish agencies will join together for the trip of a lifetime.

Women's Campaign

When you give a gift in your own name, you demonstrate the importance of tzedakah to you. You take your place in the long line of women who have carried on this fundamental Jewish tradition, and you inspire others to translate their Jewish caring into giving that makes a difference.

Lion of Judah

The Lion of Judah Program recognizes women in our community who personally contribute at least $5,000 to the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ Annual Campaign. more

Lions' Leap

Lions of Judah are a philanthropic force. We are strong Jewish women using our collective giving to change the world! By making annual donations of $5,000 or more to the UJA Annual Campaign, Lions lead the way. When Lions set their minds to something, great things happen.

In 2005, Women’s Philanthropy saw a need, and nearly 200 Greater MetroWest women made the Lions’ Leap to raise money to create the Isha Center, a safe-haven for girls and women in our partner city of Ofakim, Israel.

Now, the Lions of Greater MetroWest will join again for another historic Lions’ Leap. Together, we will transform even more lives: this time, by breathing new life into the Arad Music Conservatory in our partnership community of Arad, Israel. more

Lion of Judah Endowment

Forever Starts Today

When you create a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE), your philanthropy makes an even greater difference — providing continuous support for Federation, throughout your lifetime and for generations to come.

A LOJE lights the way for your family and community, helping to illuminate Jewish life well into the future and burning bright for all who are in need.

Endow your gift and join us in celebrating 25 years of Lion of Judah Endowment. Together we keep the flame alive.

The Pomegranate Pin Program

The Pomegranate Pin Program recognizes women in our community who personally contribute between $1,800 and $4,999 to the UJA Annual Campaign. more
