Pack Shabbat in a Box Kits

Sunday, January 7 • 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Help renovate the oldest operating synagogue in Newark and learn about its history. Projects will include cataloguing books and building bookcases to create a library, sorting and hanging art, making a play space with donated toys and more.

Work alongside WAE Center clients (adults with special needs) on a special project and learn about the amazing work the WAE Center does throughout Greater MetroWest.

Help fight hunger

Tuesday, January 23 • 10 a.m. - noon

Gather to create custom chocolate creations and write Tu B'Shevat cards for the hundreds of clients of the Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) throughout Greater MetroWest, and make an extra for you to take home! The JRA is a project of the Rabbinical College of America that provides an innovative, hands-on, door-to-door approach to feeding more than 3,200 needy families nationwide and locally here in Greater MetroWest.
