We’re Better Together is a special short-term program for teens in grades 7-12 connecting them with seniors in our community through intergenerational activities.
Students will meet twice per month for a total of eight sessions. The first four meetings will be educational trainings preparing the teens for the second four sessions with their senior buddies. Training sessions will help students understand commitment to community service and the role it can play in a Jewish teen’s life. They’ll learn to see themselves as leaders and their work in this program as an act of leadership.
Training dates, Tuesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. on Zoom: November 30, December 14, January 11, January 25. Four activity sessions with our senior buddies will be scheduled in February and March.Register Now
