The Daffodil Project

October Is Daffodil Planting Month!

Join our Federation’s Holocaust Council as we plant daffodils throughout our Greater MetroWest community this fall, doing our part to help The Daffodil Project plant 1.5 million bulbs worldwide in honor of the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust and in support for children suffering in humanitarian crises in the world today.

Synagogues and Jewish day schools are hosting planting events, but you can plant your own bulbs at home! Register to pick up a Daffodil Planting Kit that includes bulbs, soil, instructions, and educational materials… everything you need to plant daffodils at home with your family!

Planting kits will be available for pickup at the Aidekman Jewish Community Campus in Whippany on the following days from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.:

  • Thursday, October 20
  • Monday, October 24
