Engaging & Retaining Members of All Ages & Abilities

Tuesday, March 17 • 7-9 p.m.

Aidekman Jewish Community Campus
901 Route 10, Whippany

Join us for a discussion on how synagogues can involve all members, including those who may feel overlooked, in a meaningful way.

This seminar is a collaboration between Federation’s Synagogue Initiative and Greater MetroWest CARES and ABLE. Panelists will include clergy, synagogue professionals as well as community members representing a spectrum of ages and abilities.

MODERATOR: Dov Ben-Shimon, CEO, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ

Creating a community of belonging is motivated by both Jewish values and the practical need to engage diverse members. Panelists will share what works well and what challenges we can work together to address. Topics covered will include issues of physical accessibility, program design, fees, and marketing language, as well as less obvious considerations.
