Volunteer to Fight Food Insecurity

According to the Community FoodBank of NJ, nearly 1 million people in New Jersey are currently food insecure, a 22% increase over last year. This includes more than 260,000 children – about one in eight. Rising food prices, the expiration of pandemic-related safety nets, and the failure of wages to keep up with cost of living have all contributed to the steep increase.

Here are a few opportunities to help make a dent in this crisis and make the lives of our neighbors in need a little better.
