Ethiopian National Project (ENP)

We met Esther, an Ethiopian teenager who comes to the community center every day, where she derives great joy and views it as her second home and family. She is the youngest of seven siblings. Through the center, she has developed great self-esteem, stronger study habits, and good friends. Her parents, who are Ethiopian immigrants, struggle to find work and integrate better into society. The ENP is an elective project that is a partnership between Jewish Federations of North America, Jewish Agency for Israel, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and Keren Hayesod-United Israel Appeal.
