Join Greater MetroWest Congregational Lay Leadership and Professionals for a series of discussions on how we can create a community in which all members with disabilities and their families have meaningful opportunities to participate in Jewish life. Feel free to invite colleagues… Conversations become more robust and productive when we work together! Participate in one or both sessions.
Creating a Community of Belonging - What Matters Most?
January 15, 7-9 p.m.
JCC MetroWest, 760 Northfield Ave., West Orange
We know that changing culture can be challenging for a variety of reasons. We will discuss how we can guide our congregations to adjust and shift to a culture of inclusion and how to program with an inclusive eye. These changes can have an incredible impact on families! We will share best practices, discuss who to include in the conversation and how to promote inclusion beyond JDAIM.
For more information about the sessions, contact Rebecca Wanatick, Manager of Community Inclusion, at RWanatick@jfedgmw.org or (973) 929-3129.
