Building Hearts with Many Rooms

Community conversations to help us bridge our differences on Israel

Launch Event with Featured Speaker: Arnold Eisen
Chancellor of the Jewish Theological Seminary
Wednesday, November 28 • 7 p.m.
JCC MetroWest
760 Northfield Ave., West Orange

Chancellor Eisen will speak to us about the issues that are at the heart of the divide between Israeli and Diaspora Jews and what we can do to bridge the gap.

North American Jews and Israelis seem to be moving farther and farther apart on issues of Jewish identity and expression. As the voice for shared society in Israel and shared society amongst Jews in both the Diaspora and Israel, the Kedma platform of the Global Con¬nections Department will host a series of programs throughout the year to help us address the issues that divide us. Through civil discourse, we will provide our community with a forum in which to share concerns and listen to one another in order to bridge our differences with respect and compassion.
