The UJA Annual Campaign provides the foundation for all that Federation does. In addition, many donors also provide critical support to targeted programs of our Jewish Federation that touch thousands of lives every year. Business & Professionals Network (BPN) offers great opportunities to connect with other Jewish professionals, hear from industry leaders, and give back to our community.

The Synagogue Initiative addresses various needs and challenges, fosters collaboration on programs, and encourages active synagogue life and affiliation.

Welcoming & Inclusion – Federation is committed to ensuring that all members of our community feel welcome.

Women’s Philanthropy (WP) welcomes individuals who are looking to connect with other Jewish women who share common bonds, values, and passions, and who are seeking philanthropic connections. Through giving, leading, and hands-on volunteering, Women’s Philanthropy develops change-makers and community shapers.

Young Family Programming brings together a dynamic community of families with young children in Greater MetroWest.

Greater MetroWest ABLE supports and collaborates with agencies, synagogues, schools, and camps to create meaningful opportunities where each individual can thrive.

CARES creates a network connecting 11 local partners who provide direct services to seniors, and helps them find resources to enhance their collaborative service offerings.

Jewish Federation proudly works with our professionally trained Jewish chaplains to provide spiritual care throughout our community.

The Gloria and Jesse Weissberg Community Security Initiative assesses security measures and offers training to empower our community, ensuring a safe environment for worship, learning, and engagement.

The members of the Greater MetroWest Israel Office team work to strengthen our community’s connections with Israel and global Jewry. They work directly with our friends in the Greater MetroWest Israel and Overseas Partnership Network and connect us to partners promoting goals of pluralism and shared society in Israel.

Hillel of Greater MetroWest is a student-centered organization that aims to create a strong, welcoming and inclusive Jewish community on six local campuses.

Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) mobilizes the Jewish community on national, state and local issues to ensure that our community’s interests are addressed.

Jewish Federations of New Jersey advocates at the state level on issues such as combatting antisemitism, the security and safety of our communities, support for the State of Israel, and adequate social service supports.

Jewish Historical Society (JHS) serves as the archival repository of the  Jewish community of Greater MetroWest.

Mishlachat (Hebrew for delegation) welcomes and supports our community shlichim and rishonim (young Israeli emissaries) to maximize their impact across our community.

For more than 70 years, the New Jersey Jewish News has provided coverage of local, national and world events; explorations of the world of Jewish culture and the arts; supplements for the holidays, celebrations and other topics of interest; and a wide array of feature stories.

As part of our Centennial preparation, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest partnered with Brandeis University to conduct a comprehensive community-wide study and get a clearer picture of our Greater MetroWest Jewish community, helping us to plan for our future.

Congregational School Initiatives provide support, including professional development, to Greater MetroWest congregational religious schools.  

The Day School Initiative is a bold multi-million-dollar investment in accessibility, affordability and academic excellence.

Early Childhood Educational Initiatives provides support, including professional development, to Greater MetroWest Jewish Early Childhood Centers, as well as new family incentive grants.   

The Holocaust Council is a leader in providing resources and information to educate our community about the Holocaust.

The Jewish Camp Enterprise works to connect children to Jewish Camps via One Happy Camper NJ, a free resource that connects families to an amazing array of Jewish camps and summer programs, and to provide new camper incentive grants and need-based scholarships for eligible overnight campers. 

Leadership Planning and Placement provides opportunities to learn about the important work Federation and our partner agencies do to care for those in need, build Jewish community, and save lives.

PJ Library® sends award-winning Jewish children’s books directly to children from birth to age 12 every month.

Our unique Teen Initiative programs help teens develop the skills, knowledge, and experience to make a real impact on our world, both today and far into the future.

Through our allocations processes, we help to fund many Jewish non-profits — local and overseas — partners for the last hundred years and innovative new organizations — working across a broad range of needs.*

Core Overseas Allocations (JAFI, JDC, ORT). Federation’s core partners, the Jewish Agency for Israel, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and World ORT provide critical services, programs, and care for Jews around the world.

Holocaust Survivor Fund enables Federation to provide much-needed funds primarily to Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ and Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, which in turn meet a wide range of Holocaust survivors’ critical social service and financial needs.

Federation supports partner organizations in our Israel and Overseas Partnership Network Network, helping them promote a shared civil society and Jewish pluralism in Israel.

Our network of local partner agencies provide social services, education, and care throughout the Greater MetroWest community.

Federation supports national partners who coordinate support across North American Jewish communities, including Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), our national network of 146 independent Federations and 300 smaller communities across the continent. JFNA’s mission is to protect and enhance the well-being of Jews worldwide through meaningful contributions to community, Israel and civil society.

All Jewish high school students (grade 8 – gap year) who reside in the Greater MetroWest community are eligible to receive a grant from Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ for Passport to Israel, an educational peer group trip to Israel.

Each year, Federation’s board allocates funds to a multi-million dollar investment account held at the Jewish Community Foundation for use when urgent community needs arise.

By putting some UJA Annual Campaign moneys aside in reserve each year, Federation was able to immediately respond to unforeseen urgent needs, such as providing critical support during the COVID-19 pandemic and helping our partner agencies save Jewish lives when war broke out in Ukraine.

Most recently, immediately after the horrific October 7 attacks, on October 9, the board approved $1 million of immediate emergency funding from this investment account to Federation’s core Israel and Overseas partners and Israeli partner communities.
