DESCRIPTION:Temple Sholom of West Essex invites the community to celebrate Shabbat & Rosh Hashanah LaBehemot\, the Jewish New Year for Animals\, with a special Pet Blessing on Friday\, Aug. 14\, at 6 p.m. in the temple parking lot\, weather permitting.\nFamilies are encouraged to bring their beloved pets for blessings from the rabbi\, songs with the cantor\, stories\, and treats for both pets and their people. The event is open to all and celebrates the special bond between humans and animals while honoring Jewish tradition.\nThe event will take place at Temple Sholom of West Essex\, 760 Pompton Ave.\, Cedar Grove. Advance registration is requested at sholom.net.
