UC Torah Center: 30th Yahrtzeit of the Rebbe

The Union County Torah Center-Chabad, Congregation Israel of Springfield & the Chai Center Chabad-Millburn Short Hills will be jointly sponsoring a program in commemorating the 30th Yahrtzeit-Anniversary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe OBM. on Wednesday evening July 10 at 7:00PM at Congregation Israel, 339 Mountain Ave. in Springfield NJ. The Jewish community will be honoring his memory and celebrating the enduring contributions he made to our world.

Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe will presenting a talk titled “Seven Stories: The Lubavitcher Rebbe in Action”. The Rebbe’s actions exemplified his teachings, serving as the most powerful form of instruction through his impactful example. Join us on a comprehensive journey to explore the valuable lessons we can glean from these significant moments.

Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe is Rabbi at Congregation B’nai Torah in Longmeadow, Massachusetts and Dean of the Institute of American and Talmudic Law (based in New York), and Rabbinic Director of the Greater Springfield Kashrut Council.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe was a visionary leader whose influence continues to resonate globally. As we commemorate this significant milestone, we reflect on his profound teachings, unwavering dedication, and the transformative impact he had on countless lives. The Rebbe’s legacy of compassion, wisdom, and spiritual guidance remains a source of inspiration, encouraging us to carry forward his mission of spreading light and kindness.

The program is open to the public free of charge. Reservations are preferred but not required at torahcenterchabad.org/30th.
