Temple Sholom: Marking Refugee Shabbat

Join with Temple Sholom of Scotch Plains members in raising awareness about the plight of refugees around the world and honoring their resilience and fortitude.

Poems and stories about the refugee experience will be incorporated into our Friday night liturgy.

Our special guest speaker will be Aisha Mukaruyonza, who will share her story of coming to the United States via Uganda and Rwanda and becoming a United States citizen.
