Rolling Stone’s chief TV critic Alan Sepinwall will present an illustrated talk about the ways Jewish representation on TV has and has not changed from the days of Molly Goldberg to the time of Mrs. Maisel, using clips from classic and modern TV shows and anecdotes he has gathered from decades writing about the industry.
Alan Sepinwall is a New Jersey native who has been covering television for nearly 30 years, starting with his days as a columnist at The Star-Ledger through his current job at Rolling Stone. He is the author of many books on the medium, including the New York Times bestsellers The Sopranos Sessions and TV (THE BOOK).
