Holocaust Survivor Tibor Spitz to Share His Story at Union County Torah Center – Chabad

Westfield, NJ – July 16, 2024 – The Union County Torah Center – Chabad is honored to host 95 year old Holocaust survivor Tibor Spitz for an evening of reflection and inspiration as he shares his incredible story of survival. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 21, at 7:30 PM at the Torah Center, located at 111 Laurel Place, Westfield, NJ 07090.

Tibor Spitz’s harrowing journey through one of history’s darkest periods is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Born in Slovakia, Tibor endured unimaginable hardships during World War II, including hiding from Nazi forces. His survival story is one of courage, determination, and an unyielding will to live.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear firsthand from Tibor Spitz as he recounts his experiences and the lessons learned from his extraordinary life. His story not only serves as a powerful reminder of the atrocities of the Holocaust but also underscores the importance of tolerance, understanding, and the enduring fight against hatred.

The event is open to the public, with a nominal fee of $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Union County Torah Center – Chabad’s website at torahcenterchabad.org. This program is sponsored by Mark Stierman in honor of his parents Elizabeth & Abraham obm.
