Community leaders from across Greater MetroWest NJ* are invited to participate our next Solidarity Mission to Israel. During this 3-day mission, we will stand in solidarity, bear witness, and provide comfort and support to those in need.
Cost: $3,100 per person (land only, based on double occupancy), due at registration
Highlights will include:
- Meeting with heroes and survivors of the October 7 attacks
- Visiting hostage families, social service agencies, and our partner communities in the South
- Hearing from IDF representatives about the challenges and realities of post–October 7 life in Israel
- Volunteering alongside Israelis (activity TBD, based on the needs of the moment) to help with the war-efforts
This mission is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand together with the people of Israel during this difficult time of recovery.

Sunday, January 28
Monday, January 29
- After arriving in Israel at Ben Gurion, head to your hotel in Jerusalem.
- Travel to Mitzpe Ramon, where Kibbutz Erez is staying after being evacuated.
- Drive to Ofakim.
- Lunch at restaurant HaTeomim with Ofakim mayor, Itzik Danino, and local leaders.
- Volunteer with Lev Ehad (TBD).
- Drive to Merhavim regional council.
- Visit an IDF tank unit. Meet with soldiers and the Merhavim regional head of the municipality, Shai Hajaj.
- Drive to Jerusalem.
- Check in at the hotel and refresh.
- Private dinner at the hotel with Danny Zweibel of i24 News.
Tuesday, January 30 (Municipal Elections)
- Have breakfast at the hotel.
- Over breakfast, meet Taly Levanon, CEO of the Israel Trauma Coalition, who will share the challenges of building resilience.
- Today, hear firsthand accounts of the hostage crisis. Meet special women who will share unique perspectives.
Wednesday, January 31
- Have breakfast at the hotel.
- Over breakfast, JAFI/JDC briefing.
- Activity with evacuees (Ethiopian and/or Ukrainian) from Safed absorption centers (Kiryat Moriya).
- Then meet with (TBD) a survivor of the Reyim festival, an Israeli Arab news anchor, etc.
- Return to the hotel to refresh, pack, and checkout.
- Enjoy a BBQ dinner with soldiers.
- Head back to Ben Gurion Airport for flights back to the U.S.
