Nova Music Festival Exhibition Visit

Date: Tuesday, June 4
Time: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm (EDT)

Join NextGen and Global Connections to bear witness at the Nova Music Festival Exhibition: The Moment Music Stood Still, an in-depth experiential exploration of the brutal October 7 attack. Recently extended, this groundbreaking installation sets out to recreate the “Tribe of Nova” festival in southern Israel, an event dedicated to peace and love, that was brutally cut short by Hamas’s attack on Israel from Gaza on that fateful day.

Please share this opportunity with your non-Jewish friends and allies to experience this meaningful and empowering remembrance. You’ll have an opportunity to include a guest in your registration, too!

Cost:
$18 per person, tickets only
$40 additional cost per person if taking the optional bus from Short Hills to New York City one or both ways*

Space is limited. Each individual purchase limited to 1 or 2 tickets. Water and Kosher snacks will be provided.

*Bus departure location provided upon registration. The bus will depart from Short Hills promptly at 9:30 a.m. If not taking the bus, please meet at the exhibit at 10:45 a.m. The tour will end at approximately 12:30 p.m. The bus will return to Short Hills between 2:30-3 p.m.

Security at Federation Events

Your Greater MetroWest Community Security Initiative (CSI) is coordinating all security with local, county, and state law enforcement. At every Federation event, all available resources are utilized to ensure your safety. Three important items of note:

  • Bag policy: Backpacks, luggage, and large purses are not permitted at events. We encourage you not to bring a bag, if possible, or to bring a very small bag. All bags may be subject to search.
  • Additional security measures: Additional security procedures may be implemented (e.g. metal detectors) as needed.
  • Social media protocol: We ask you not to share the location of a Federation event prior to or during the event and to refrain from posting about a Federation activity until after it has ended, and the site is clear of attendees.

Building an inclusive community is a priority. Please email [email protected] to let us know if you require an accommodation to meaningfully participate in an event. One of our Federation professionals will reach out to you to learn more.
