Newly engaged David and Meg (who has recently converted to Judaism) gather with his family in their Upper West Side apartment for Shabbat dinner. They are awaiting the arrival of Meg’s Catholic parents to meet the family for the first time, but then an accidental death completely derails the evening. A madcap comedy ensues with a brilliantly funny cast, including Jon Bass, Meghan Leathers, Kyra Sedgwick, David Paymer, Milana Vayntrub, Theo Taplitz, and Cliff “Method Man” Smith. Winner of the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, Bad Shabbos is a great time!

Post-screening Q&A with director/co-writer Daniel Robbins, co-writer Zack Weiner (in-person), and stars Meghan Leathers and Theo Taplitz (on Zoom)
