JAFI Webinar: One Year Later: Remembering October 7

Join us to hear the incredible personal story of Amir Tibon, an Israeli journalist for Haaretz and the author of the newly released book, “The Gates of Gaza.” Amir, a resident of Kibbutz Nahal Oz, hid with his family in a shelter for hours, surrounded by terrorists, until his father was able to heroically rescue them. Amir will be interviewed by renowned journalist and Jewish Agency Canadian Representative Yaron Deckel, and will take you inside the reality of being in the media and experiencing the attacks firsthand, and give his analysis on why October 7 occurred and what is possibly happening next.

Amir will be joined by Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin, Chair of The Jewish Agency Fund for Victims of Terror, which has been a critical source of relief and support to victims impacted by terror, delivering financial assistance and hope within 48 hours of an attack.
