Keeping the Stories Alive
Seminar for 2nd & 3rd Generation Survivors
The Holocaust Council is building a community network of children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors to carry on the stories and memories to future generations along with connecting with one another.
Please join us for a virtual meet and greet and hear from Elyse Wolff, the granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors. Elyse will share with us the journey she has followed to be prepared and willing to continue to tell her family’s story for generations to come. We will also provide details of the WeDu (We Educate) program that sets up subsequent generations to create presentations. We’ll provide an additional half hour at the end of the call for questions and conversation.
Registration is now closed. Be among the first to learn about future events and programs like this — click below to let us know what piques your interest and we’ll keep you posted on what’s most important to you.

Elyse Wolff is the granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors, which has greatly impacted her life. Since completing the WEDU (We Educate) program through 3GNY in spring 2019, Elyse has shared and continues to share her grandmother’s amazing story of surviving the Satu Mare ghetto, escaping death more than once at Auschwitz, and reuniting with Elyse’s grandfather who survived Auschwitz and Dachau. Elyse is a co-founder of 3GNJ and has also served as an appointed commissioner to the New Jersey State Commission on Holocaust Education since 2017. In this role, Elyse supports the commission’s core mission to promote Holocaust education in New Jersey.
