An Evening with Shimon Smith

Shimon Smith is one of the leading songleaders/cantorial soloists in Israel and he is coming to our bimah to celebrate Shabbat and Hanukkah with us on Friday, December 3.

Shimon will kick off the evening during our Tot Hanukkah program starting at 5:30pm where he will teach our children a special Hanukkah song to perform at the 6:30pm adult service. A catered dinner for our Tot families will be served after their service.

Then Cantor Greenberg and Rabbi Katz will be joined on the bimah by Shimon at 6:30pm for a joyous filled musical evening where we will pray, sing, and bring the light in! Please bring your Hanukkiah and candles for lighting. A community dinner from Veggie Heaven, along with latkes and doughnuts, will provided by Temple Ner Tamid following the service.

Masks wearing is required for all attendees. Everyone 12 and older attending in-person services must be fully vaccinated.
