A Day of Solidarity and Action for Israel

As many of you know, our JCC was planning to host a “Fall in at the J” festival this Sunday, October 15 from 1-4 p.m. Given recent events in Israel, we will still be holding an event this Sunday afternoon, but it will look a bit different and will no longer be a fall festival but will instead be a day where we can come together as a community to support Israel and support each other.

This Sunday will be a Day of Solidarity and Action for Israel.

• 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. – Join us to make Israel themed crafts to bring to the solidarity gathering or to just take home with you, as well as cards for Israeli soldiers.
• 1:30 – 2:15 p.m. – Community solidarity gathering for Israel in the JCC gymnasium, featuring music and remarks from local clergy and government officials.
• 2:15 – 3:15 p.m. – Social action projects—soup kit making, applesauce making and the Daffodil Project
