Purpose:

In cooperation with the Community Relations Committee (CRC) of Greater MetroWest and the Iris Family Foundation, we have created a program to deepen our community’s understanding of current events, the geo-political issues facing Israel and the Middle East, and the importance of lobbying to advance the U.S.-Israel relationship. This is an opportunity to bring students and parents together to learn as a family about Israel’s history and current challenges, and to prepare students to speak out with greater confidence when they get to the college campus.

Who is eligible to apply:

Students in 9th through 12th grade are eligible to join the parent/teen cohort and receive a subsidy of $499 to cover the registration fee.

Students do not have to be first-time Policy Conference attendees in order to qualify for the subsidy.

Requirements:

Parents and students are required to attend a pre-policy conference meeting on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Students receiving the subsidy must also have attended  #ILEAD, a Teen Israel Leadership, Education and Advocacy Day conference in November 2019.

Please note that we have a limited number of seats available. We urge you to sign up quickly in order to take advantage of this incredible offer. This offer is also open to students who’ve attended policy conference before. Once you’re a confirmed participant we will mail you a check to cover student’s registration fee, as well as additional information.
