"Being a part of Federation gives me a chance to contribute to the larger Jewish community of which I am proud to be a part."

When did you get involved with Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ?

I moved to West Orange in May 2018 and at the same time accepted the position as Nursery School Director at the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School at Congregation AABJ&D. This position allowed me the great opportunity of learning about Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest and all that it does to help the Jewish community.

 How are you involved?

I am a member of the Early Childhood Advisory committee and love collaborating with other professionals to see how we can provide more professional development and support for our staff as well as more resources for our families. My children also receive PJ Library books, and we participate in some of the PJ programs, like the concert series.

What motivates you to stay involved?

Being a part of Federation gives me a chance to contribute to the larger Jewish community of which I am proud to be a part.

What do you wish other people knew about Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and the work we do together?

Federation is a phenomenal organization that helps support all Jewish people in the community and around the world. They help our nursery school community so much and I am so grateful for all the support I get.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about getting involved with or donating to Federation?

All young families should try to get involved even in a small way because we are the new generation that can help support our fellow Jews.
